Objectives and Description of Scientometric Duties

Scientometrics the science of measuring and analyzing science, in fact, it is a field of knowledge that examines and studies the characteristics of scientific information, scientific productions of countries, organizations and individuals based on internationally valid data.. Scientometrics Center of Ardabil University of Medical Sciences was established in 2015.

1- Study in the field of scientific research ranking of the university and its affiliated research centers
2- Evaluation of researchers (faculty members) of the university using Scientometric indicators
3- Scientific preparation for elite education
4- Reporting the scientific output of the university in different time periods
5- Evaluating the scientific research journals of the university and examining the possibility of indexing them in valid indexes including Scopus and ISI
6- Documenting the indexed articles of university researchers in international indexes
7- Defining and compiling new indicators of Scientometrics at national and international level
8- Examining the scientific status of the departments and research centers of the university
9- Scientific study of medical fields and the rank of the university at the national level
10- Compiling books in the field of medical information for faculty members
11- Holding workshops and scientific lectures
